‘Keralam: Mazhayum Veyilum Kaattum’ Environmental Dialogue Held in Kochi

Kochi, 11 August 2026– An environmental dialogue titled ‘Keralam: Rain, Sun and Wind’ was organized by Probodha Trust, Kochi on Tuesday, 11 August 2026 at 4:45 PM at Probodha Bhavan, M.G. Road, Ernakulam.

The session was presided over by Adv. D.G. Suresh, President of the Kumaranasan Cultural Centre.

The panel discussion saw active participation from Dr. Anna Abraham Pachayil, Antony Joseph Kurupasseri, Santhosh Kumar K.K., Adv. Hema, A.S. Shyamkumar, Balachandran K., Surendran P.N., Muraleedharan, and Kunjikochu Sherub, among others.

The speakers addressed key environmental concerns including the human-induced causes of natural calamities, the impact of rapid urbanization and deforestation, the need for sustainable solutions, and strategies for developing climate-resilient agricultural practices.

Prof.Vinod Kumar Kallolickal proposed the vote of thanks and presented a summary of the proceedings.
